Ali Wells’ productive spurt continues with a second album ‘The Power and The Glory’ issued here through his own Perc Trax imprint. Enlisting vocals from Nik Colk Void of Factory Floor on ‘Speek’ and collaborating with Dan Chandler of Dethscalator on ‘Take Your Body Off’ and ‘Rotting Sound’, the LP sees the producer at the height of his ambitions in the wake of 2011’s highly acclaimed ‘Wicker & Steel’. For fans of brutal, industrial techno Wells’ more expansive vision will undoubtedly not blunt the raw assault which characterises his best work.
