Starting its campaign with ear-bleeding high frequencies, Perc’s ‘A New Brutality’ stakes its claim from the onset. From there onwards it’s classic nihilistic techno, just how you would expect from Ali Wells. It's throbbing industrial fare but with a step beyond the standard techno blueprint with a slightly more abstract noise-based sense of extremity and waves of ambient sound.
