Francois Boulanger is a man who goes by many names. Operating under Ssaliva, and Kingfisherg in the past, it's under his Cupp Cave alias that his experimental, introspective side really emerges. On the experimental 'NVMB' he takes a neck-twitching, shoe-shuffling warmth and wires it through glitching beats, jagged melodies and ambient snippets to create something beautifully eclectic. From the squelching beats and looped vocals of 'Everlastic' through to the more indulgent synth-infused electronica of 'Insight', Boulanger's slow motion production casts an effortlessly laconic glaze that fans of Seams, Gold Panda and FaltyDL should enjoy.
