The ever-prolific Berlin institution Ostgut Ton rounds up their regulars and a couple of fresh faces for a collection of tracks simply entitled Various. Here the artists have been given a greater sense of freedom to release more experimental or off-centre tracks, breathing some fresh air into the label. Tobias provides the aptly titled 'Dark & Troubling Things', acting as a sonic backdrop to a Lynchian nightmare whilst DIN (Marcel Fengler and Efdemin) take things back to the floor with a slow burning, 4/4 stomper. Recent collaborator Dave Sumner aka Function adds a seducing, Detroit inspired cut that is guaranteed to set floors alight.
