Lebanon's Annihaya Records gives us this LP of electronic folk from Rabih Beaini, or Morphosis as his fellow countrymen and worldwide fans know him. Pushing his knack for traditional instrument mischief even further, 'Ya Shater' combines static, crickets and eerie Eastern strings, while 'Song of Extreme Happiness' taken an organ drone and wraps it around you till you're in a floatation tank. Less beat-orientated than his Morphosis work, this is an album to sink into after a purchase of bubble bath.
