Electropop producers Cole MGN, Charland Burkhart and J Whitemare make up supergroup SAMPS, and have gone beyond their wildest imaginable combined whole with this slice of '80s-infliuenced electronic soul. On 'Plans', gorgeous washes of synth get ripped up by savage digital drums and cooing vocal samples, while 'Twice High' on the flip pushes the formula deeper with caverns of static, Yamaha CS-70s and theatrical vocal exercises.
