Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier and stormy LA indie rockers Storefront Church have teamed up to write the theme for AMC’s newest neo-noir drama series Monsieur Spade. ‘La Langue Bleue’ is a marvel in its own right, a melancholic slice of downtrodden pop bearing DNA from both legendary groups. Sadier makes allusions to some of French film’s most beloved figures in line with the show’s setting, while Lucas Frank draws deep with elegant piano work.
