Brighton gothic post-punk trio Esben and the Witch put forward their second full-length. Both menacing and majestic, ‘Wash the Sins Not Only the Face’ is a voyage through 10 tracks, where Rachel Davies’ haunting vocals lead the way and the reverb-heavy, cascading synths provide a backdrop. A confident second album that sees a myriad of complexities.
