It's not all turned towards dubstep on Planet-Mu, there are always some contrasts, like this album by Tom Burbank of squidgy aggressive synthy instrumental hip hop. Off beats claps, dark almost jazzy melodies and warm Detroit techno chords with lots of strange background noise and tension. It's funky stuff but with a touch of simmering anger and a little distortion it's a tougher album than it first seems.
