Brian Dougans is back on De:tuned with an EP of dancefloor epics made for huge crowds, reminiscent of the flare of his late 80s and early 90s beginnings. Amidst propulsive and cascading percussion, Sweet Acid Sound is full to the brim with the faithful thrum of 303 basslines and their caustic higher frequency manipulations, bathed in an aquatic, fizzing atmosphere.
