Blackest Ever Black compile seven of Black Rain's film scores from the period of 1994 to 1995, a post-industrial, post-punk duo made up of Stuart Argabright and Shinichi Shimokawa. Culled from Black Rain's '1.0' album the material comes resequenced and remastered by BEB and is death-defying atmosphere of doom and dread. Stark layers of synth-drone arrive in ghostly fashion atop of cavernous electronic percussion and austere and insistent repetition.
