Returning to the highly revered Type comes the second album proper from William Fowler Collins. 'The Resurrections Unseen' sonically explores a place that time and civilisation seems to have forgotten deep in the New Mexico desert. Bleak and distant landscapes are envisioned through the use of field recordings and crackling tape hiss, spurred on by walls of white noise and warped guitars that smelt together and infiltrate the most vulnerable parts of your paranoid mind. This is haunting and effective work of the highest order.
