Over a year after its inception, Wave Function Records come through with their third release by way of the explorative electro stylings of Vertical 67. Plunged deep into a misty alien atmosphere, Solitary World features crisp electro rhythms soaked in electronica-tinged sound design and ambience. The rickety laser beats and acid stabs of ‘Strings’ are mysteriously bouncy, offset by rainy and undulating murmurs. Taking the original track’s percussive smashes into an even more dancefloor oriented direction, MOY offers a remix of ‘Signals From The Deep’ with dripping melodies intertwining throughout heavy hitting kicks and subtly scattered breaks.
