Premier modern-composer/field recordist Richard Skelton's worked has always been masked by an innate sadness, here he enlists vocalist Autumn Richardson to add another sheen of melancholia to his mournful string arrangements- the results are intoxicating, beautiful. Much like Liz Harris' / Grouper Wolf Notes is loaded with heavy, wordless tones and drones, swamping your ears almost on impact.
