Inspired by her fascination with trains started at just 5 years old this mesmerising work encorporates field recordings of various diesel locomotives, shards of ASMR triggering vocals, haunting industrial influences. Plotting lucid dreams of timeless Ghost Box releases alongside glistening sonic harmony in the kin of Alice Coltrane. It’s a completely immersive listen from start to finish, constantly shifting tone, instrument and technique. While sounding completely in and of itself it brings to mind the innovation of Psychic TV’s classic Dreams Less Sweet or more recently the brilliant AboutFace album on AD 93.
