If you don't know, now you know. Adonis, who also recorded as Jack Frost (of 'Shout' fame), is responsible for this certified acid classic. Much imitated, remixed, reissued, it remains a staple of many a DJ's set for the simple reason that it just JACKS. That perfectly simple riff, a constant modulation of percussion kicks and claps, snares and cowbells meeting perfectly with a robotic vocal that shouts of losing its soul. Those vocals from Gary B are as simple as that riff, but they still have the power to haunt. If that's not enough, the instrumental is on hand to jack your body and your party.
