Bok Bok & L-Vis 1990's Night Slugs label presents their third official release the "I.R.L" EP from London Girl Unit. The lead track with its broken 808 drum-kit captures the manic energy of Chicago's footwork/Juke movement at a UK-friendly 135bpm, while its monster island horns signal the coming of an ominous beast. The other two slabs are pitched somewhere between Chi-town and London backed up by SCRATCHA DVA . and young Parisian French Fries' mix drawing on tribal percussion and a massive jerking sub-bass, expanding "IRL" to its full bigroom potential.
