British collective SAULT return with their most challenging commentary to date - ‘Nine’. Born out of a politically charged time in history, the project is a reflection of moments past and current affairs - police brutality, inner city violence and self-medication - wrapped in a sonic package of jazz, neo-soul and funk. With guest appearances from Little Simz and Michael Ofo, ‘Nine’ is a love letter to the city of London - brutally honest and signed off with a kiss in the closing track ‘Light’s In Your Hands’, embraced by the sombre vocals of vocalist Cleo Sol. The album was available digitally for only 99 days so this vinyl edition is essential.
