Electronic production duo Jungle are no strangers to no-nonsense, feel-good dance music — but their third record Loving In Stereo feels like their absolute zenith. The amount of neo-soul, funk and disco joy threaded throughout the release is directly proportionate to the overall lack of dancefloor-born revelry experienced during the time of the pandemic. Absolute bangers like ‘Keep Moving’ and ‘Talk About It’ slot neatly into the sample based lineage of The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada and Daft Punk. The sounds here are irresistibly classic, and as such demands to be replayed.
