The Cutting Edge Of A Knife is an entirely apt title for this release. Greek producer Fanis Tornikidis aka Penelope’s Fiancé has garnered a reputation as something of a techno futurist with his work on Clan Destine Records and Live Adult Entertainment, and that sense of newness sounds refined across this disc. Dub ambient monstrosities lurk in ‘Lethe’ and ‘I Wasn’t Always There’, as Tornikidis takes an industrial hardcore turn into dancehall with ‘Futile Endeavours’.
