The one and only Jensen Interceptor delivers a quartet of crashing, dystopian electro slammers. These tunes somehow manage to up the stakes of Jensen Interceptor’s sound still further. The same post-Drexciyan air of malevolence hangs thick over Strings Of Fear as on the producer’s other releases, but there is a deliciously dark vibe to this record that we haven’t heard much of from Jensen Interceptor previously. Indeed, with their earth-shaking snare slaps and sleek mid-tempo grooves, tracks like ‘First Day’ and ‘Strings Of Fear’ have as much EBM in them as they do electro. This is a great new look for Jensen Interceptor.
