Cititrax present an album of loose and knowing minimal-synth songs from Madrid-based duo Tornische. The chugging, icy beats that are served up across Interiorismo recall coldwave and electronic post-punk greats past and present - Silent Servant, Phase Fatale, the D.A.F. and Veronica Vasicka are all brought to mind. However, Interiorismo also showcases a nudge-wink playfulness in Tornsiche’s boy-girl back-and-forths which channels the more idiosyncratic styles of Marie Davidson and Fad Gadget.
