L.I.E.S. present the second of their archival EPs from Chicago mainstay Deecoy. Listening to the tunes of Archive 2 it’s easy to piece together how Deecoy ended up making music with Jamal Moss and Traxx under the name Dirty Criminals. Tracks like ‘Tunnel Vision’ and ‘Chrome’ both embody that classic Midwestern house swagger and also feature unusual choices - a needling synth-lead here, a dubby texture there - that make Deecoy stand out from the crowd.
