I-f’s Viewlexx do what they do best with Nick Klein’s new EP Jesus Take The Wheel. This is ultra-scuzzy acid electro of the sort that The Hague label does better than pretty much everyone else. ‘Tabs Of The Idiot Acid’ and ‘Pure Bleach’ feature drums so degraded that they seem like they’re going to fall apart at any moment. After another Beau Wanzer-ish clank-techno number in ‘Embarrassing Scene’ we get wrung out by the harsh power electronics drones of Jesus Take The Wheel’s closer ‘Can’t Be A Candle’.
