Onont Kombar, known elsewhere as Jeroen Holthius and a member of Celephaïs, debuts on Viewlexx with his first solo EP. Epitaph of Ego treads the alien ground between heavy and plastic with its furious blend of electro, post-punk and industrialism, vowed through a post-rave lens. The three distinct styles, beginning with the dynamic stomp of the title track, on through the swampy dirge of ‘Moondust In My Eye’ and finishing with the ascendent ‘The Last Day Lasts Forever’ showcases a producer unafraid of attempting the impossible.
