Limited to a mere 300 copies in this current rerelease (and also remastered by former member Bernard Filipetti), BFE Records delve back to the early 1980s with the pioneering Clima-X by French sound explorers Art & Technique. Neatly toeing the line between bright synth experimentation and gravelly industrial ambient, this slab of wax is bursting with gorgeous blips, bloops and beats. What’s more, it sounds so fresh that we can’t quite believe this is from as long ago as the Reagan administration.
