Marie Davidson bid Adieu Au Dancefloor back in 2016, but it seems that this time she means it - the French-Canadian artist tells us that ‘Chasing The Light’ will be the last club track that she makes for a while. Mind you, this is some way to sign off. Along with some of her typically tightly-wound beat programming Davidson also brings trance synths to the fore here, their zapping arpeggios giving the track some serious momentum. The Chasing The Light EP is bulked out by two remixes of tracks from Davidson’s Working Class Woman LP - Soulwax’s robosexual flip of ‘Work It’ and Daniel Avery’s slaloming acid techno take on ‘Lara’.
