Italian duo Cage Suburbia make their first foray outside of Haunter Records, rocking up on SURVIVE Ltd. with some spine-chilling techno tracks. Lost Titles kicks off with ‘Vertigo’, a cut whose lead-line could have been conceived by one of the band trying to replicate the X-Files theme tune. The quicksilver drum programming only adds to the feeling of unease here. ‘Vertigo’ is backed up by ‘Lost’, a gabber-techno number whose power lies in restraint. Rather than letting loose, the track’s ominous kick drum and wisps of reverb-drenched noise are spooky in that UVB-76 way.
