Nathan Micay’s good 2019 continues with the third entry in his Schvitz Edits series. On Schvitz Edits 003 the artist formerly known as Bwana takes us to India - specifically Bollywood. With the A-side Micay transforms Alka Yagnik’s and Shankar Mahadevan’s ‘Koi Jaye To Le Aaye’ from the 1996 movie Ghatak: Lethal. A pumping tech-house beat and a little bit of an EBM influence breathe new life into the tune. Micay’s ‘Trance Is Eternal’ reworking of ‘I Am That Living Soul’ is a cut you may recognise from Avalon Emerson’s 2018 BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. All of the proceeds from Schvitz Edits 003 will be donated to the Humsafar Trust, India’s largest LGTBQI+ advocacy organization.
