L.I.E.S. continue their run of gothic and ghoulish minimal wave/punk electronics with a debut EP from producer Daniel Holt. The Vault member keeps it dark on his eponymous drop. The first thing that you notice about ‘Demonic City’, ‘Disassembled Self’ and ‘Life Of Insubordination’ is the dirty fuzz that hangs over them. This degraded production adds extra grit to Holt’s menacing techno, minimal synth and EBM experiments.
