First Terrace release another instalment on their split series. Operating with a non-hierarchical layout composed of ‘line’ and ‘circle’ sides rather than ‘A’ and ‘B’, Anna Homler and Pierrie Bastien offer two disparate works of orchestral origins. Anna Homler, of Breadwoman/Pharmacia Poetica acclaim, presents a work sprung forth from the lush musings of the London Improvisers Orchestra. Working alongside Adrian Northover (Remote Viewers) and Dave Tucker (The Fall), Homler delivers yet another enchanting aural outpour. Pierrie Bastien forges his work from the Orquestra Mecànica de la França Xica, presenting three compositions constructed using around forty machines, controlled via his casio keyboard.
