Detroit based post-punk band Protomartyr return with another EP on Domino Recordings following their move to the imprint in 2017. The band have teamed up again with the Breeder’s Kelley Deal, who made a similar appearance on the band’s 2015 single ‘Blues Festival’. The combination of vocals between Casey and Deal thrill on ‘Wheel of Fortune’ and ‘You Always Win’ with the intellect of the lyrics seeming to spur forth the momentum of the tracks. The rhythm section are happy to utilise their talent in order to contribute to the steely vocals that carry Casey’s distinct message and intellect.
