Clark twists up rave once again with the sweet 'n' sour farmyard fodder Honey Badger / Pig, for our money the best Clark techno since Turning Dragon!
Honey Badger opens the A with some cavernous kicks ripped straight out of the tinnitus bust ears of a Sunday afternoon raver who has come staggering out of Berghain 12 hours later, pie-eyed and legless. Pig on the other trotter is more hardcore techno, yet this time it starts out like Infiniti's Game One before breaking out in a rash of pure ecstasy that is the closest thing to an acoustic Lorenzo Senni synth line you are likely to this side of the yard. While the bassline pounds relentlessly away, the vocal hook sounds like IT has been programmed on a PC (music) that sounds like it's made out of sugar.
Cheerful Dettmann techno with a USB stick record box full of SOPHIE's Lemonade spilled across the dancefloor. Both tracks have an impact that is quite like the audience it caters for, impeccably high.
