Former bedroom reggae producer Androo debuts on Music From Memory sublabel Second Circle with six cuts spanning 100 bpm boogie through to dubwise homages to the big smoke. Eagle eared Amsterdam enthusiasts might recognise opening jam ‘2000 & Universe’ from Tako’s recent Noise In My Head mix. The Second Circle imprint focuses on the MFM collectives shared appreciation for sounds new as well as old, and it’s served as an interesting outlet for their combined tastes as well as a kick in the teeth to vintage music and reissue snobs worldwide.
