New on Jahtari is this next level dub album from ‘post-tribalists’ Waq Waq Kingdom. Jahtari has been a must check for fans of new school digi dub for a while now, with their early Tapes releases serving as an entry point for house and techno fans. Shinsekai features the vocal talents of Kiki Hitomi, who some might recognise from King Midas Sound. DJ Scotch Egg/Seefeel maestro Shigeru Ishihara takes credit for the wacked out production whilst Andrea Belfi masterfully employs the trimba (a percussion instrument championed by Moondog). Bound to be one of the most interesting contemporary dub albums of the year!
