Born Edward Larry Gordon, the American multi-instrumentalist known as Laraaji was famously discovered by a young Brian Eno whilst busking with a homemade zither. Recording for the Editions EG label in 1980, this major label debut set the precedent for a slew of privately issued tapes and CDs and a decade-spanning career which has recently seen Laraaji material released on All Saints RVNG and Leaving Records. Be Still and Glow is a triple cassette tape package with three mind-bending zither and chime focused meditations, that makes you really want to take head and Be Still and Glow.
