Heat Death is the mysterious and varied sound palette of Hackney based Leyden Jars, taking in elements of Annea Lockwood (think ‘Glass World of’), downtown no-wave and rhythmic noise. One half of previous Mordant Music collaborators Glass Isle, the introverted compositions here fit perfectly with the aesthetic of the fiercely independent label.
