Purple Tape Pedigree (Geng, Celestial Trax, Copout, Eaves, Dis Fig, Abby and Kieran Loftus) continues its prolific run of form with a new EP from Liminal Sounds alumnus Copout. The NYC-based producer is here with four-track EP, Forces, on which next-gen Grime sounds (bright, vivid, neon) clash with menacing horrocore atmospheres, as the artist himself suggest “it’s like seeing the edge of a cliff and walking towards it. We’re all enchanted by something”. Think Vangelis meets Terror Danjah meets Autechre meets the Logos/Mumdance axis.
