Delroy Edwards’ L.A. Club Resource drops another new name into the content farm with this hiss-ravaged LP of rough-hewn house music, post-disco groove, and industrial abstraction. Innyster is Brazilian apparently, and first surfaced on LACR13 alongside Chi-Town machine-mangler Gene Hunt (he who always pushes things to the red). It’s to Chicago that Innyster looks to; devising tracks from circuit burnt Roland grooves, moody synth melody, and a complete (wonderful) disregard for studio levels. Think Jamal Moss, gone feral.
