Berlin producer and DJ Oskar Offermann lands on Japanese label Mule Musiq with Le Grand To Do. Despite years of experience steering crowds into hedonistic highs at nightclubs, Offermann is turning his gaze far beyond the sweaty main rooms on this record. Produced in 2014, the record comes from a period in his life where meditation, veganism and New Age were at the top of his agenda. Using an older, tinnier selection of drum machines, Offermann has built an elaborate but somehow richly DIY sound. Makeshift compositions executed with maximal attention to detail.
