Ultra talented electronic musician Luke Abbott teams up with multi-instrumentalist and Portico member Jake Wyllie for a collaborative EP. The self-titled release is an ambient record inspired by a show that the two artists played together in the South of France. Each track slowly unfolds, cut down from longer improvisations recorded in a single session at Abbott’s studio in Norwich. Abbott provides dense, atmospheric sound worlds that act as a bed for Wyllie’s free-flowing explorations with saxophones and other instrumentation.
