Soundway Records present this first chapter of a trilogy of releases inspired by Columbian music legend Jaime Llano Gonzalez. Meridian Brothers – also Columbian natives – use the 8-tracks on this release to explore the genre-busting compositional style and confounding ability of the iconic Hammond wizard. Llano Gonzales was famed for mastering the blueprints of traditional columbian styles – sweltering interpretations of Pasillos, Bambucos, Cumbias all feature on this release as well as flavours of foxtrot and more ambient textures from surrounding nations.
