Having already ushered in airplay from the likes of Midland, Detroit Swindle and Todd Terje, this EP is the penultimate instalment of xxxy’s series of hazy house gems for the shelves at Rinse. Moving further toward establishing a brand of blissed out house that his truly his, the accessible-yet-esoteric sounds of Lately and Close The Door Behind You are both fully fit for main-room floor play but there is an intricacy and detail in the production that surpasses most standard bangers. A trio of carefully composed house cuts set to dominate floors and airwaves.
