Following on from Psychic 9-5 Club, HTRK return with a blink-and-you'll miss it 1-sided 12" for Sleeperhold Publications, three tracks of late night blues and an etching on the flip. The moonlit scratchy melody of Sugar juxtaposes well with the more ethereal vocal spaciousness of Body Lotion but both cuts share the same feeling of unrequited affection and post-Instagram insecurity. The highlight of the release is Punch, a downbeat demi-ballad that simmers and patterns in a totally hypnotic fashion.
