ClekClekBoom mainstay French Fries offers out a track from his huge debut album Kepler to two heavyweights for a pair of quiet different reinterpretations. First up, NYC’s Soul People Music man Fred P offers his trademark soulful caress and whilst the original was all ridged percussion and icy stabs, Fred P’s reshape is the hallucinatory cousin with the heavy kick still firmly in place. On the flip, Enclav. Boss Chevel’s version offers another interesting slant, here adding in tipsy interference and a doodling chord progression resulting in something a little more cosmic.
