Huxley has always waited for audiences to find him, since 2009 he’s dropped an assortment of singles that range from no-frills garage through to breakbeat and festival-friendly house and he’s shown himself to be a producer keen on blurring the lines between dance genres. His collaboration with house old-hand Roger Sanchez, Callin gave fans their first taste of Blurred and the ear worm hook and infectious drum patterns set a precedent for a record of paradisal vocal hooks and wiry bass cuts. Reflecting the record collection of a real dance disciple, Blurred marks the start of the next step in Huxley’s ascent.
