We are big fans of the US noise demon Kevin Drumm, especially his ambient works, this could be one of the finest pieces in his back catalogue. Taking the winter ice as explored on the wonderfully hypnotic 'Night Side' released a few years back on Hospital Productions as a theme. If you let it take a hold, this is a truly immersive release, mastered by Russell Haswell and pressed onto a continuous track by Mego, a perfect soundtrack to the frozen borders laid out ahead by the coming of winter.
