Bleep

Fresh off the back of his excellent Livity Sound debut, up and coming artist Bruce slides over to another Bristolian label with the Not Stochastic EP on Hessle Audio. The title cut is an agitated, broken affair where glittering synth drops pour down on a palpating drum base that's drifts in and out of focus. On the flip, ‘Trip’ is a sparse, heady arrangement similar in feel to Charles Cohen’s Buchla excursions whereas ‘My Legs Wouldn’t Go Quick Enough’ is takes aim at the floor with its bass judders, clipped hi-hats and savage swing.
