A series of curious snapshots are gathered here on this album from Editions Mego by Faroese / Danish composer Goodiepal. Known for his radical work in electronic music, his new album Morendo Morendo - My Paris Is Called Colchester is a collage of wild sampling - everything from rattling percussion, buzzing drones, toy town keys, voices that might be telephone conversations, and 'Greensleeves' are thrown into the mix. It's completely unpredictable from one moment to the next, and brilliant for that.
