Uwe Schmidt, aka Atom TM, continues his Audio Archive label where he plans to release the entirety of his back-catalogue, complete with unreleased treats. ‘I/Repetitive Digital Noise’ is a substantial LP of physical acid techno cuts which originally saw the light of day in 1992 and have here been remastered by the artist himself. ‘GAT’ recalls some of Hessle Audio's output in its infectious drum programming, but adds a Drexciya acid bass to thicken the impact, and ‘Warm Sunday’ is a relentless analogue pounder which will undoubtedly please fans of Helena Hauff’s 2013 releases. ‘Spacey (Long Version)’ intrigues most though, with delicate glitches hidden amongst 808 kicks which predict the sound-world of many of Schmidt’s later releases on labels such as raster-noton.
